somewhere to sit at last

Since i moved in back in May i have not had anything to lounge on while watching TV. i have had a beanbag for company for 7 months.

My new suite is arriving next week. Awesome!!!

So, The TV and the rest of the equipment are now set up. All i need to do now is sort out the settings...why they can't just have on/off i don't know....settings galore and unfortunately, i am not the type of person to sit for hours and mess with the settings to try and find the optimum set up. I'll see how it goes and if needs changing I'll invite someone over who knows what they're doing!

Jesus, this must be about 1996/7. It was children in need and i had the pleasure of dressing up as a women. I had the long hair so they said i would fit right in. The older women behind lent me her dress. I assure you it was about 10 sizes too small.....the waist was half way up my chest but it weren't half fun doing it. It all got a bit itchy towards the end of the day, i was glad to get it all off.

Liverpool lost but we are still through so it wasn't that bad a deal.

I did manage however to unpack and position my surround sound system. still not wired up as yet as my room needs re-arranging but i am getting there. i also managed to fit my optical cable....i forgot to remove the cover on the connector so it is understandable why it wouldn't fit!!

Yup! we lost the 2nd test downunder. How? well, who knows but I'm bitterly disappointed!!

I am in the process of putting together my surround sound.....looks quite straight forward, but we'll see. Only issue so far is my optical cable doesn't seem to fit.....i don't want to force it as last time i did something like that i blew my pc up by forcing the memory in the wrong way...oops....

Anyway, perhaps Liverpool will cheer me up by beating Galatasaray in the football tonight.....

thieving little bastards

Was down in Birmingham this weekend, went to see some old friends. Played poker into the small hours and only lost a fiver.....pretty good going I'd say. He won £85, but he was lucky...

Unfortunately, the cinema close to where I was staying wasn't showing Jackass 2 in the afternoon, so off we went driving across Birmingham, which is a nightmare in itself, to a nice little cineplex. parked up, went inside, watched the film, laughed all the way through it, got up, walked outside to my car to find the fuckin window done in and my tom-tom stolen, FOR FUCKS SAKE!!! thieving little bastards. they didn't want the loose change or my phone earpiece, no they left them just took my TOMTOM.

I took it rather calmly to be honest as i thought, its' OK work insurance will cover it since it is a company car. Only to find out today that, oh no, personal possessions? that's not covered sorry....JESUS, more fuckin money down the pan.

I believe in removing fingers and thumbs from thieves...it'll stop them doing it again, not only because they don't want to go through the pain again but also because they won't be able to because they won't have any fingers left!!

I got stuffed the other week with the congestion charge as I was a couple of days late in paying it. I was unaware that there was a 24Hr deadline. £50 they want off me now..

I even got robbed when I cancelled an item from an internet company.....it turns out to be a European company so they took my money in £, and refunded me the same amount in Euro's. well thank you very much, what a fuck wit person who did that. I pay £109 but they refund me 109Euros, so i get £74. How difficult can it be to refund someone some money?
